1 MUHARRAM 1432 H

1 Muharram? It seemed almost everyone already knew and know him, let alone for a Muslim. History for the sake of history has passed for a nation and his people, many stories have been missed, but few of us realize, do not even understand the essence of which is contained in history has ever passed. Yet God did not make an event with nothing, but behind it there is a ibrah (lessons) that should be taken and used as guidelines in mind for his next life. As Allah has made clear in His Word :

لَقَدْ كَانَ فِي قَصَصِهِمْ عِبْرَةٌ لِّأُوْلِي الأَلْبَابِ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثاً يُفْتَرَى وَلَـكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
"Indeed in their stories there is a teaching for people of understanding. That's not a made-up story, but to justify (the books) previously and explaining all things, and as guidance and mercy for folk who believe. " (Yusuf: 111)

So is the case for Prophet Muhammad SAW, as the figure of evil as well as carrier ram changes people, a lot of history and events that have been scratched. Among the scratches are very monumental in the history of life's journey is the events of the Prophet Muhammad migrated from Mecca to Medina.

The daunting journey, full of struggle and challenge. He said when he was about to leave the city of Mecca, "I love thee, O city of Mecca, where I was born. " The move is deliberately done clandestinely, to avoid the chase of the multinational forces of Quraysh, and was forced to spend the night at Cave Tsur. Messenger when it was time to say, "wa laa Laa takhaf tahzan innallaha ma'ana" (do not be afraid and do not grieve, for Allah along with us.)

From the story of a tragic and profound meaning tersebutlah, then set as the first month of Muharram in the Islamic calendar by the Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab on the advice of the law of the Prophet Muhammad, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib. Muharram is one of the four months that glorified (Rajab, Dzulqaidah, Dhu al-Hijjah, and Muharram), in which prohibited conduct warfare and other violence.

Becoming Better

Hijrah, in Arabic dictionaries, which originated in the letter ha-ja-ra, which means the split / move. Means moving from one place to another, so that said as a move in the understanding of birth. Meanwhile, an inner pilgrimage (and meaningful) is the change in attitude and behavior (takhali, tahali and tadzali).

Takhali is empty or emptying, discard attitudes and behaviors ago, then tahali which means replace with a new attitude (which is worth more good, high, and noble, etc.), and enjoy tadzali (result), for example, thanks to our generous protected person, thanks to our helpful friends and many have given some pleasure of Allah SWT to us.

Islam also teaches, that the days that pass should always be better than previous days. Every Muslim is required to always emigrate, that is getting better from day to day, and so on.

In some word of Allah SWT, migration can be categorized, inter alia, migration is an essential symbol of faith (the manifestation of true faith) and migrated as a test and trial, because every human life will definitely get a test, especially for those who believe. As high as what degree of faith that someone so high as well as examinations, trials, and slander to be faced.

Leaving possessions, family, relatives and the homeland is a very severe test, especially where the destination is still floating, so can not imagine going hard trials and temptations faced when humans have pledged themselves as servants of God (16: 110). (3) Hijrah the lowest level of jihad, because migration is one way to maintain the faith and honor Allah SWT aligns with the street-jihad certainly his reward would be equal to Jihad (Al-Baqarah: 218), (Al-Anfal: 72, 74).

Momentum Introspection

Fitting every Muslim, making the momentum of the New Year Hijrah to perform muhasabah (corrections / introspection / reflection) or fill it with activities that do not conflict with Islamic law so that it becomes more meaningful. As the scholars understand that the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad SAW is the development of a new point of preaching to the conditions better society.

If we associate meaning with the context of contemporary migration in particular Indonesia, what the Apostle which moved from Mecca to Medina may not be and may not need to do, but clearly migrated extraordinary wisdom. Some scholars explain that the meaning of hijrah was to leave the country / region (shirk) to the country of monotheism, leaving the innovation to the Sunnah, and migrated (left) the condition full of immoral towards the realization of a few immoral or good deeds at all.

At least in the extent of hijra hijrah nafsiyah (individuals) with trying to distance himself from doing acts that deviate and try to improve ourselves to clean the dirty deeds, so that the heart, soul and body and all actions become holy. And after that start by trying menghijrahkan family, relatives, neighbors, the environment and surrounding communities, and eventually form a community that is ready to migrate intact and whole.

Thus, the true opinion which says that the move is the momentum en route to uphold Islamic values that form a new society, namely the Islamic community.

In accordance word of God: "He who emigrated in the way of Allah, shall they find on this earth where extensive migration and provision of lots. Whoever comes out of his house with the intention emigrated to Allah and His Messenger, then death befall him (before reaching the destination), then it has been fixed reward with Allah. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful ". (Surah An Nisa: 100)

And hopefully keep the best realization of human existence, as Allah says in His Word: You guys are the best people are born to humans; do nahi unjust verdicts, kindness, and faith in God. (Surah Ali Imran: 103). For that, start making changes ourselves, whoever we are, and whatever our profession, since today and from just about anything.

While saying prayers to welcome the beginning of Hijra. This means: with the name of Allah the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. To Allah we berselawat, upon our master Muhammad, the family members and friends of the king and prosperity on them.

O Allah, O Lord Us, You are eternal, which qadim. That initial and on-your great strengths and an abundance of Thy mercy, and this is a new year that have appeared in front of us. We begged the maintenance of thy far this year from the devil and his assistants and of his army and also help towards self-ordered committed a crime and the business closer to You, O my God the Supreme Court and the Supreme Majesty.

O Allah, O Lord We, the Most Merciful of those who love and God berselawat upon our lord Muhammad. The Ummi Prophet, and upon the family members and his friends and well-being upon them. May Allah give him lot of love to the country, with the blessing and righteousness.
